Louise the Dog needs a home
When Louise first arrived at Best Friends from a shelter in New Mexico, she was considered feral. She came to the Sanctuary with her sister, and neither of them knew anything about the world. Although Louise is shy and fearful with all people, and is considered a flight risk, with lots of time and love she has started to blossom. She is definitely a follower and needs a confident doggie role model to show her the way, but if she has that, she excels. Louise's caregivers have developed a routine for her to get leashed up and go on walks. She now loves going on long walks with not only her caregivers, but also with Dogtown volunteers. Volunteers also help feed and spend time with her to get her used to meeting new people consistently. Louise likes to play in the dog park and can usually be found lounging in her kiddie pool when the weather is hot. Born in 2013, Louise is one of those dogs who would thrive in a patient home. Every ounce of work that you put in with her will pay off over time.Louise has a generous sponsor who will cover her adoption fee.
